Samhain’s Shadow

A night of Myth, music, draíocht & Imbas. Join Candlelit Tales and TAU for an evocative night of Celtic celebration at the Navan Centre. An evening supper and light refreshments will be provided during the interval.

Candlelit Tales

A retelling of Ireland’s epic war tale An Táin Bó Cúailnge. Condensed and re-told with passion and reverence by Aron and Sorcha Hegarty and accompanied by pulsating music that provides the story’s heartbeat, performed by Rúairi O’Shea, Oisin Ryan, and Alan Homan.

All tailored to give you a lasting memory of The Táin, ensuring that Ireland’s oldest tale will always be remembered.

As long as we keep telling this tale, Cúchulainn’s name will never be forgotten.

TAU

The night of storytelling will be followed by the evocative sounds of TAU as they chant, sing and call us into the powerful energy that surrounds this ancient celtic festival. Led by Shaun Mulrooney, the Irish born Berlin-based musician, the exciting collection of sonic travellers and fellow musicians on stage will make this night one to remember.

“These bold and daring songs elevate TAU (& The Drones of Praise) as a cut above the rest.” – Irish Times
