Cultivate Creativity – Our Storytelling Retreat in Central America
Lake Atitlán, Guatemala
2027
After a powerful and successful first gathering in 2026, we’re returning to the volcanic slopes of Lake Atitlán to deepen the experiment.
This regenerative retreat is a three-day immersion in myth, creativity, and connection to land. Hosted on a working permaculture farm overlooking the lake, it explores storytelling not just as an art form — but as a way of relating: to place, to community, and to the more-than-human world.
Across the weekend, expect:
Daily yoga and embodied movement
Land-based story craft and mythic exploration
Creative writing and oral storytelling circles
Collaboration and co-creation with local wisdom keepers
Space to slow down, listen, and reconnect
This retreat is about creative awakening rooted in ecology — where story becomes a living practice shaped by volcano, soil, and sky.
We’re excited to return, refine, and reimagine this gathering for 2027 — building on what we learned and deepening our relationship with the land and community that made the first one so special.
We believe that the power of storytelling is not just for professionals, it is for everyone. It’s a fundamental part of the human experience that is waiting for you to find it. Join us and discover the magic.
